Tips: This Is How You Use The Bedtime Function Of Your iPhone

Setting a fixed bedtime may seem a bit childish, but with all those fierce screens you wake up, maybe it's not that bad idea yet. This way you can use the iPhone Bedtime function.

This is how the iPhone Bedtime function works

The Bedtime function has been standard on your phone since iOS 10 , but it's not a shame if you've never encountered it. The option is hidden in the default Clock app, which opens you as soon as possible to trigger an alarm. If you look at the bottom of the app, you'll see 'Bedtime' next to the Alarm clock icon.
If you're using the Bedtime function for the first time, Apple asks you some short questions like how you want to stand up and how long you want to sleep every night. Based on that, your ideal bedtime is "calculated" (it's nothing but a simple retreat). You can also set which days the Bedtime function should be active so you can just sleep on weekends.

Set bedtime

Once you have completed the setup process, you will see a clock with a half-circle around it. It indicates how long you want to sleep every night. By moving the ends of the circle, you can easily adjust your time to sleep or get up. In the middle you'll see how much sleep per night is left.
In the options you can also choose from a number of unique alarm sounds, such as 'Early Bird' and 'Morning Light'. Finally, you decide when you want a reminder that you have to go to sleep. That can be when the bed is really bedtime, after which you have to jump acutely, for example, half an hour or an hour in advance. You will then receive a notification indicating that it is bedtime. In the morning, an alarm will be triggered.

The Bedtime function also shows you if you have actually taken enough hours. Below the big clock there is a simple graph showing how long you have been sleeping on the bed, including any interruptions. Your iPhone seems to use the built-in accelerometer to see if the phone suddenly moves fast. Like when you watch your phone in the middle of the night.
