It may happen that your iPhone or iPad slows down over time. We show in three steps how to manually release your device's operating memory, so it gets a bit faster.
Unlock iPhone memory manually:
Your iPhone and iPad normally handle the use of work memory, but if they get slower or slower, it can be handy to manually empty it. You can do this by restarting your device, but it will take a few minutes. If you do not have time to lose, follow the steps below to quickly release your device's operating memory with the same result.
1. Unlock your iPhone or iPad;
2. Press and hold the power button. The Turn Off screen appears now;
3. Press the home button for a few seconds. The Turn off screen disappears after a few seconds and you return to the home screen.
By performing these actions, you manually release the work memory, which eliminates any problems. Keep in mind that all active apps remain in the multitask screen, but need to be reloaded. The above steps also work if you suffer from a slow iPod touch.
